​I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist trained at The Guild of Psychotherapists, and an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist trained at IATE.

I offer a confidential and non-judgmental space in which to talk about the issues that concern you. I work with individuals on both an open-ended and time-limited basis.

I have experience in the Charity Sector with women with complex needs, Student Counselling and Mental Health and in private practise. This has given me the opportunity to work with people from a broad range of backgrounds on a wide variety of issues and difficulties. This includes: relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, anxiety, addiction, depression, loss, miscarriage and identity. I have particular experience working with young adults and parents who have children with learning disabilities.

While I draw on different psychoanalytic theories, central to my approach is;

• The significance role the therapeutic relationship has in how change comes about.
• Understanding how the unconscious plays a part in how we feel and behave.
• Exploration of the past, especially the family, and how those experiences effect your present day.

I’m an ASIST trained suicide first aid intervention and a Living Works Assist trainer.

Code of Practice

I am registered with the British Association Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and a member of United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, (UKCP). I adhere to the code of the code of ethics of BACP, UKCP, The Guild of Psychotherapy.  These organisations have very rigorous membership procedures and operate with a strict code of ethics to which all members must submit. Current Clinical memberships include: The Guild of Psychotherapy, The Relational School.

I have regular supervision in accordance with the requirement of UKCP and BACP and am committed to my ongoing professional development.
